UAE · ERP e-invoicing readiness
Get your ERP ready for UAE e-invoicing — with AI automation
The UAE's mandatory e-invoicing starts on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more, and on 1 July 2027 for everyone else. We automate the ERP-side preparation so your invoices reach your Accredited Service Provider clean.
The mandate timeline
| Phase | Who | Appoint an ASP by | Mandatory from |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more | 30 October 2026 | 1 January 2027 |
| 2 | Businesses with revenue below AED 50 million | 31 March 2027 | 1 July 2027 |
| 3 | Government entities | 31 March 2027 | 1 October 2027 |
Invoices between businesses will have to be issued and exchanged as structured electronic data through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs), with tax data reported to the authority. A PDF attached to an email will no longer be enough.

Why this is an ERP project first
Your ASP transmits invoices, but the invoice data comes from your ERP. If customer TRNs are missing, addresses are incomplete or product classifications are wrong, the invoice is rejected and has to be corrected and resent. Most of the work in getting ready is therefore cleaning master data, mapping ERP fields to the required format, and building a process for rejected invoices.
How AI agents help inside your ERP
- Master data clean-up. An agent compares customer and supplier records against trade licenses and VAT certificates, flags mismatched or missing TRNs and addresses, and proposes corrections for approval.
- Pre-validation before the ASP. Each outgoing invoice is checked for missing or inconsistent fields before it leaves your ERP, so fewer invoices are rejected.
- Rejection handling. When an invoice is rejected, the agent reads the reason, finds the cause in the ERP and prepares the correction for approval.
- Incoming e-invoices. Structured supplier invoices are matched to purchase orders and goods receipts by the Invoice Processing Agent and posted with approval.
- Arabic and English. During the transition many suppliers still send PDFs in either language; the agent reads both.
Every change to your ERP goes through human approval and is logged, so your finance team and auditors can see exactly what was corrected and why.

FAQ
Common questions.
Are you an Accredited Service Provider?
No. We prepare and automate the ERP side: master data, validation, rejections and incoming invoices. Your ASP transmits the invoices.
Does my ERP need to be replaced for e-invoicing?
Usually not. Most ERPs can produce the required data with a connector from your ERP partner or ASP. We clean and validate the data around it.
When should a Phase 2 business start?
Now. Master data clean-up, field mapping and testing with an ASP take longer than most teams expect, and the ASP appointment deadline comes before the go-live date.
Can you host the AI in the UAE?
Yes. We can deploy on-premise, in your private cloud, or in a UAE cloud region. See our security page.
Do you also cover Saudi Arabia?
Yes. If you also trade in Saudi Arabia, one integration layer can handle both e-invoicing formats.
